Jiangsu Nannong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.
Focus on Livestock & Poultry Vaccines
Jiangsu Nannong Hi-tech Co., Ltd., founded in 2000, specializes in the R&D, production, sales and technical services of livestock and poultry vaccines. So far, we have been recognized and reputed as a national high-tech enterprise, a nationally recognized specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprise, and a key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Jiangsu Province.
We boast high-caliber R&D platforms, highlighted by several high-level innovation carriers including the Jiangsu Provincial Bioengineering Technology Research Center for Animal Disease Prevention and Control, Wuxi Academician Workstation, a provincial enterprise technology center, a provincial postdoctoral innovation practice base, and a graduate workstation. In addition, we became a CNAS-accredited laboratory in 2018, and successfully passed the certification of Good Clinical Practice for Veterinary Drugs (GCP) in 2019. Backed by all these carriers and qualifications, our quality management system and R&D capabilities have long been benchmarked against world-leading international standards.
In order to foster new quality productive forces, we have long adhered to the industry-university-research collaborative innovation model. Among our efforts in this regard, we have established long-term stable strategic cooperation with top domestic universities and research institutions, including Nanjing Agricultural University, Jiangnan University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute, CAAS and Harbin Veterinary Research Institute, CAAS. Among major scientific research projects under Jiangyin’s “Open Competition Initiative to Select the Best Candidates to Lead Key Research Projects”, we have participated in national key research projects on African Swine Fever with joint efforts of Harbin Veterinary Research Institute. Over the years, we have undertaken more than 20 national, provincial and municipal scientific and technological projects, secured 18 authorized invention patents (including 1 international PCT patent) and were granted 16 national New Veterinary Drug Certificates, among which 3 are Class I, 1 is Class II and 12 are Class III, demonstrating a rich portfolio of our scientific and technological innovations.

To date, we are the only biological product enterprise in Wuxi dedicated to livestock and poultry vaccine manufacturing, and also the largest private high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province specializing in the production of livestock and poultry vaccines. We have assembled a high-caliber professional technical team and established and operated a mature and integrated industry-university-research innovation system. By deepening research cooperation with prestigious domestic universities and peer enterprises, we have closely aligned our R&D with practical demands from the livestock farming industry. Besides, we drive the development of new products, and steadily consolidate and elevate our core market competitiveness by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as reverse genetics and gene recombination. Currently, we have a rich pipeline of products under development, covering multiple livestock and poultry vaccines. Examples of these vaccines include Porcine Circovirus Type 2 and Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Inactivated Bivalent Vaccine (Recombinant Baculovirus OKM Strain + HuB083 Strain), Porcine Circovirus Type 3 Subunit Vaccine, Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Subunit Vaccine, Porcine Parvovirus Subunit Vaccine, as well as Recombinant Inactivated Quadrivalent Vaccine against Newcastle Disease, H9 Subtype Avian Influenza, Infectious Bronchitis and Infectious Bursal Disease. Concurrently, we are making efforts to strategically expand into the pet vaccine sector, steadily advancing the R&D of Live Attenuated Trivalent Vaccine against Feline Herpesvirus Type I, Feline Calicivirus and Feline Panleukopenia Virus.
On the manufacturing front, we boast robust manufacturing infrastructure, particularly demonstrated by our two modern intelligent vaccine production workshops equipped with 12 standardized production lines. With such infrastructure, we achieve a strong annual output capacity of 17.6 billion doses of veterinary live vaccines and 1.1 billion milliliters of inactivated vaccines. In particular, our production workshops are fitted with intelligent integrated management and control systems, full-coverage 5G networks, a big data center and Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and thus operate fully automatically, laying a solid hardware foundation for our high-quality development.
Backed by robust R&D strengths and mature industrialization capacity, we have maintained steady business growth with outstanding market performance of core products. For instance, our Porcine Circovirus vaccine series has maintained a leading market position for 15 consecutive years; our Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Vaccine (R98 Strain) ranks among the top sellers in the industry; and our Classical Swine Fever Live Vaccine and Pseudorabies Live Vaccine also hold prominent market shares. All these highlight our edges in commercialization of scientific research achievements and market competition.
Looking ahead, we will still be committed to developing high-tech biotechnology and driving the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. We will make further efforts in the industrial application of high and new technologies, fuel the transformation and upgrading of conventional livestock breeding industry, fully support the high-quality development of modern animal husbandry, and help boost rural economic income. Operating a well-established corporate governance structure and flexible, efficient operational mechanisms, we will continue to focus on animal disease prevention and control, and contribute to improving China’s national animal epidemic prevention system and reinforcing the safety barrier for the livestock industry.
