Experimental studies have demonstrated that porcine fever antibodies can protect pigs from disease onset; however, only high antibody levels are capable of completely inhibiting the replication of the porcine fever virus and eliminating the risks of viral carriage and transmission.
Dosage and Administration of Wenkeqing
·According to the dosage specified on the vial label, dilute with sterile physiological saline to a concentration of 1 unit/mL, with each unit containing 1.0 mL.
·In areas free of swine fever outbreaks, piglets without maternal antibodies after weaning require only one vaccination dose. In the presence of epidemic risks, piglets should receive two vaccinations: once at 21-30 days of age and again around 65 days of age.Precautions for the Use of Wengkeqing
·This product is intended for use only in healthy pigs.
·Post-vaccination monitoring is essential; in case of allergic reactions, prompt administration of anti-allergic medications is required.
· Vaccines should be transported under refrigerated conditions at temperatures below 8℃.
·Upon receipt of vaccines packaged in refrigerated containers, if stored at temperatures below 25℃ but above 8°C, the vaccines must be used within 10 days from the date of receipt.
·When the ambient temperature in the vaccination site exceeds 25°C and refrigeration facilities are unavailable, vaccines should be administered using ice packs for immediate use upon receipt.
·After vaccine dilution, it should be used within 6 hours if the ambient temperature is below 15°C; if the temperature ranges from 15℃ to 25℃, it must be used within 3 hours.
·During vaccination, local disinfection should be performed. A new needle should be used for each pig adminisered with the vaccine.
·Used vaccine vials, equipment, and remaining diluted vaccines should be disposed of through harmless treatment.
