Porcine parvovirus diease is an embryonic infection and mortality disorder caused by Porcine Parvovirus (PPV), in which sows do not exhibit obvious symptoms. This disease primarily leads to abortion, fetal death, fetal malformations, mummified fetuses, weak offspring, and infertility in sows, and can also cause dermatitis and diarrhea in piglets. Co-infection with Porcine Circovirus is one of the main causes of multisystem failure syndrome in weaned piglets, resulting in significant losses to the global swine industry.

Use the Locally Prevalent Strain of PPV

Maternal pig fetal disease samples from affected sows in southwestem China were collected, and through plaque-donal purification, a pure vaccine strain-PPV SC1-with excellent immunogenicity was obtained.

Highly Sensitive Clonal Cell Lines Were Employed to Achieve High Viral Titers.

Through cell cloning and screening, the cell line STE4 was obtained, which is highly sensitive to the PPV SC1 strain, with a viral culture titer reaching 10&0TCIDso/ml.

The use of serum-free culture and centrifugal ultrafiltration concentration techniques results in purer antigens.

During PPV culture harvesting, serum-free medium was employed; cell debris and other large particulate materials were removed using centrifugation and microfiltration techniques, followed by ultrafiltration concentration to eliminate small molecular impurities from the antigen, resulting in higher antigen purity.

The Use of Imported Mineral Oil Adjuvant Ensures Prolonged Immune Duration.

This product utilizes imported mineral oil adjuvants with a high titer and prolonged efficacy duration. Effective antibody levels are achieved within 14 days post-immunization in guinea pigs, reaching peak concentrations at 60 days post-immunization, and maintaining effective antibody levels for no less than 180 days. The immunogenicity is comparable to that of imported vaccines.

Xikeqing recommends immunological methods

·Intramuscular injection into the neck, 2 ml per head.
·Recommended vaccination schedule:
Sows should receive one immunization dose 1.5 months before breeding, followed by another dose after a 14-day interval, each administered at a volume of 2 mL.
Commercial sows should receive one dose of vaccine 30 days before farrowing, with each dose administered at 2 ml.
Breeding boars should be vaccinated once every 6 months, with a dose of 2 ml each time.

Precautions for the use of Xikeqing

·During storage and transportation, vaccines must be strictly protected from freezing.
·Before use, carefully inspect the packaging. If any abnormalities are observed-such as damage, missing labels, blurredtext,expiration, invalidation, or failure to be stored at the specified temperature-use is strictly prohibited.
·Vaccinated pigs must be in good health; those with weak constitution, illness, poor appetite, or unresolved postoperative conditions are strictly prohibited from use.
·Injection devices must be strictly sterilized.
·Will be used up within 8 hours after activation.
·Abandoned vaccine vials and residues should be boiled or incinerated.
·In cases of allergic stress response, anti-stress medications such as epinephrine or other corticosteroids should be administered. ·Individual pigs may exhibit injection site swelling, elevated body temperature, reduced food intake, or complete fasting for 1-2 days after vaccination, followed by gradual recovery.
